Hottest Shoe Trend!

Strappy open toe ankle cuff sandal heels are currently all the rave this season, so I had to get my hands on a pair! This style of shoe has been since on pretty much everybody in the spotlight! It's a definite huge trend. Here are my white Chinese Laundry sandal heels with back zipper detailing. I bought this pair from a lovely store called Dillard's.

Jennifer Lawrence looks absolutely amazing on the Golden Globes red carpet that was held at the Beverly Hills Hilton Hotel today! She's such a breath of fresh air, just look at her! I really love her entire look, from her latest edgey, popular blond bob & trendy makeup that compliments her elegantly simple ballroom style Dior dress & amazing emerald jewelry! The BLING is real, people! So she lost her bracelet on the red carpet, so what? She went about it like a pro, calm & cool just like we'd expect her to. Now, we're all gaga for JLaw but we know very well that there's so much more to her than just her looks. She's an amazingly talented actress with a personality that made us all for her! She took 2013 by storm, and it seems she's ready to take 2014 as well, starting off the year with a Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress Role in the popular movie, American Hustle!

Most popular place to see them, of course, is Tumblr, and other sites that revolve around pictures, like Look Book. These boots are in! You can spot them on the hottest celebrities like Miley Cyrus, Kreayshawn, Amber Rose, Jessica Alba and Carly Rae Jepsen. They come in many different colors and styles. A few of my faves are Hot Pink, Victorian Flowers Print, and White Portland Rose Print. These gorgeous shoes are definitely worth the price! Lace Up Hidden Platform High Heel Booties!

Platform booties are definitely in right now. You can catch them on celebs like Lindsay Lohan, Vanessa Hudgens, Miley Cyrus, and many more! I've copped myself a pair of pink studded platform booties, adn they are to die for! SO cute! I absolutely love them. I ordered mine from Modocat.com, but there are many places you can find platform high heel booties! Designers like SHOE REPUBLIC LA, JEFFREY CAMPBELL'S "LITA" SHOES are the must have shoes for this trend! So get trendy, and order yourself of these bad, bad babies to show-off at your next rendezvous! You'll definitely be the talk of the party. Here's a few TIPS for people who want to buy these.

1. If you have NO experience walking in heels, these are definitely hazardous to your health! They're about 6 inches. I suggest you try finding some with a much smaller heel! Remember, a lady only looks attractive in heels if she can work them.

2. The ones I've ordered, are studded death machines. Just kidding, but the studs are these heels can be dangerous, if you have kids around, definitely keep these put up in as safe place in the box. Don't want any accidents to happen!

3. They don't have much support or cushion on the sole, so if you're flat footed or have sensitive feet, definitely buy some in support cushion or gel pads for the inner sole, especially if you plan on wearing these to festivals or concerts.

4. The laces are there for a reason! Lace 'em on tight to keep 'em on right!

The fashion trend that is definitely in now are PASTELS, high waist hot shorts, bandeau tops, plenty of studs, floral prints, crosses and flag prints. I'm absolutely in love with these trends, but it's not something for everyone.  Now, short shorts and tiny tops can send the wrong signals if not executed right. You want to look trendy and cute, even sexy, but not like a street walker. How do you do that? Simple. Pair off outfits with plenty of gorgeous accessories, such as headbands, bracelets, rings, earrings and such to keep the look trendy and fun. Now, bandeau tops are a tricky one. Best way to go is to have a cute overcoat, such as a jean jacket (jean is in now), a trendy blazer, a throw-over top or a shall. These are some great alternatives if you don't want to bare too much skin. Here are a few photos I found of some girls who I think pulled the look off well.
